Master semester project spring 2024
The aim of this master’s semester project is to explore the physical simulation of a papyrus using Unity and to improve interaction with it.
During this project, two approaches were explored. The first, which is more mathematical, implements Archimedes’ formula to simulate the rolling of the papyrus.
A second approach relies more on an optical illusion by varying the thickness of the cylinders to simulate the rolling.
The second video shows the use of a component supplied by unity originally used to simulate tissue physics. This component is modified to simulate papyrus.
